5th Annual Berkeley County Jamboree Kicks-Off Aug. 13

The Berkeley County School District invites the public to join in welcoming the start of the high school football season as seven Berkeley County high school teams go head-to-head Fri., Aug. 13 at the 5th annual Berkeley County Jamboree.  

The Jamboree is an annual pre-season fundraiser that benefits the athletic departments of the Berkeley County high schools.  The match-ups begin at 6 p.m. at Goose Creek High School, 1137 Redbank Rd.

 

Attendees can see all of the Berkeley County teams that went to the State AAAA playoffs last year, including the AAAA Division II Champion Berkeley High School Stags.  The Jamboree is also an important training event for this year’s newly forged teams, allowing them to experience real field play in front of a large crowd, something they have been training for all summer.

 

The Berkeley County Jamboree is open to the public. Admission is $6 per person at the door, and provides entry to view all seven fifteen-minute match-ups.  Proceeds will be split evenly among participating teams and will go to support their athletic programs.  For information on the

This year’s Fall Festival is shaping up nicely. We are excited about our new location and joining with Crowfield Plantation for their premier 5k Run/WalkThe Drew Sineath & Associates’ 4th Annual Fall Festival shall be held Saturday, October 23rd from 9 am to 1 pm.

The Run/Walk to preserve the Crowfield ruins will begin at 8:30 am starting at Middleton Park and continuing onto Crowfield’s beautiful trail system. Our Festival will begin at 9 am for those participants who finish quickly and early festival attendees. We will have free food, live music, jump castles and games, fire engines from Goose Creek Fire Department, dog demonstrations from Berkeley County Sheriffs Office, dance performances from Metro North Dance Group, car displays from Stokes Kia, and so much more.

We have partnered with Helping Hands of Goose Creek again so bring your can food items for a free raffle ticket or purchase one for $1.00. Our goal this year is to raise over $1,000 and 2,000 pounds of food this year.

Word has spread quickly but I am happy to announce that there are still a few sponsorship spots available. We have one or two more spots for Platinum and 4-5 more spots for Gold. Grand Openning for Marrington Villas at Cobblestone Going All Weekend!

Wow, what a great time we had last night at the grand opening of the new single family model at Marrington Villas at Cobblestone, an Epcon Community.

Drew Sineath & Associates is the broker-in-charge for the community and we are happy to have the opportunity to work with such a fine company and established builder. Epcon came into the area not too long ago and began offering a new, high-end, luxury town homes in their signature pinwheel design. It’s Time for the Southeastern Wildlife Expo again

Though the weather maynot be beautiful this Valentine’s weekend. The Southeastern Wildlife Expo is the perfect place to spend a cold day.
