Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Donna had the good fortune thirty years ago to marry a Low Country boy. Together, she and her husband Tom raised two sons, both of whom call Charleston home.
Many who visit Charleston are drawn to its special charm: the beauty of nature combined with the beauty of what man has created meet in a harmonious and unforgettable way in Charleston. This beauty, blended with the graciousness of its people and the rich history of its past, make Charleston hard to resist, both for visitors and for those who decide to stay, just as Donna did.
With a background in Geology, it can safely be said that Donna appreciates Real Estate from the ground up. And while “improvements to the land” are the main focus of real estate, Donna has found that the true focal point of any real estate transaction is people; the people that take a house and turn it into a home, a sanctuary, a part of a community. For that reason, service, integrity, and honesty are the cornerstones on which Donna builds her business and her relationships with her clients.
In addition to real estate, Donna’s interests include architecture and urban planning.
She and her family are member of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Broad Street.
And in her free time, you will find her near the water or in the garden. Or possibly doing laundry!
