As many of you may have noticed, the lovely City ofGoose Creek has been working 
diligently on beautifying our city. Here recently you can see some activity around the Municipal Center around the pond. Here is a quick map of the Hiking and Biking Trials that are being added to this city we love to call home.
Goose Creek City Council will give a test vote to proposed deed restrictions at the city-
owned Crowfield Golf and Country Club, a proposal by Mayor Mike Heitzler that has been a hard sell for most of the council members.
Worried about the future viability of the course, the mayor has argued to change the title on the property, preventing future city councils from dividing up the land for the next 25 years.
“Some future council may want to sell off a little bit here and a little bit there,” Heitzler said.

The infrastructure has been in for years, but no further development has been made until 
Northwood Assembly opened the doors to their new location at Carnes Crossroads a few months ago. Is that now a sign of things to change? Our new local news provider, The Goose Creek Patch seems to think so. Check out a clip from their latest article:
“Next week, Goose Creek City Council is expected to weigh a request for streetlight installation along St. James Avenue and North Main Street. Streetlights usually follow development, said City Administrator Dennis Harmon, but The Daniel Island Co. has offered to fund half of this cost to get the lights up in the first half of 2012.”

Wow, what a great time we had last night at the grand opening of the new single family model at Marrington Villas at Cobblestone, an Epcon Community.
