Sponsorships Still Available for Drew Sineath’s 4th Annual Fall Festival

This year’s Fall Festival is shaping up nicely. We are excited about our new location and joining with Crowfield Plantation for their premier 5k Run/Walk. The Drew Sineath & Associates’ 4th Annual Fall Festival shall be held Saturday, October 23rd from 9 am to 1 pm.

The Run/Walk to preserve the Crowfield ruins will begin at 8:30 am starting at Middleton Park and continuing onto Crowfield’s beautiful trail system. Our Festival will begin at 9 am for those participants who finish quickly and early festival attendees. We will have free food, live music, jump castles and games, fire engines from Goose Creek Fire Department, dog demonstrations from Berkeley County Sheriffs Office, dance performances from Metro North Dance Group, car displays from Stokes Kia, and so much more.

We have partnered with Helping Hands of Goose Creek again so bring your can food items for a free raffle ticket or purchase one for $1.00. Our goal this year is to raise over $1,000 and 2,000 pounds of food this year.

Word has spread quickly but I am happy to announce that there are still a few sponsorship spots available. We have one or two more spots for Platinum and 4-5 more spots for Gold. If you are sitting on the fence, I would recommend submitting your registration form sooner rather than later. The Charleston, SC region finished 2009 with 8,736 sales—up 1.0 percent from 2008. Supply was a different story in 2009 as the 19,111 new listings represented a drop of 3.1 percent from 2008. Strong sales and falling supply have helped bring the Months Supply of Inventory down to 12.8, a decline of 13.6 percent from a year ago and a sign that the market is moving slowly back towards equilibrium.

Drew Sineath & Associates Kicks Off 2010 with a Bang

We had a fabulous 2009 with over 63 transaction sides closed for over $11 million in sales. This concluded my best year in the business. We had a very successful 3rd Annual Fall Festival with over 1,400 attendees, raising over 1,100 pounds of food and $400 in cash for the Helping Hands of Goose Creek. We added a new buyer’s representative, Andrea Parler, over the summer. We also administered our first ever Home Buyer Seminar. We had 29 attendees. Of the 29 attendees, three of these buyers have already purchased a home!

We have set the bar high for 2010. We are setting a goal of over 90 transaction sides closed for over $16 million. We will once again host our annual Fall Festival, October 23, 2010. We will also administer a Home Buyer Seminar, May 8, in connection with Family Services at the Goose Creek Recreation Center. We have also planned outdoor events starting this week. Drew Sineath & Associates will be attending the annual Flowertown Festival in Summerville for the first time this year. The event is in March this year for the first time, running from March 26-28. Come by our booth for some great door prizes and activities! Our final event before the Fall Festival will be the final Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series race in August. Stay tuned for more details.

Thank You for Your Comments on The Drew Sineath & Associates’ 3rd Annual Fall Festival

I can’t believe the year is coming to a close! We have been very busy this year. We went into 2009 wanting to do more in the community. We came out having been a part of the Del Webb business fair and the Lowcountry Parent Magazine kids fair in the early part of the year; hosting our first ever buyer seminar in May; setting up a display and handing out bags at the Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series race No. 4 in August and finishing with our 3rd Annual Drew Sineath & Associates Fall Festival!

I couldn’t believe the turn out for the Fall Festival. We were all scared after last year’s weather! This year we prepared for rain with a 20×60 tent! And like Murphy’s Law, it didn’t rain! We were so blessed to have sunny skies and mild to warm temperatures. We were even more blessed to have some great volunteers! With over 1,400 attendees this year, we shattered last year’s record number of 400 attendees! With your help, we were able to raise over 1,050 pounds of food and $400 in cash to donate to the Helping Hands of Goose Creek food bank! Thanks for your support for this great cause.

Please remember to look for the advertisement for next year’s event! We want to double the amount of food we collect throughout the month leading up to the event and even more cash donations. We know we can do this with your support! I can’t thank you enough for coming out and enjoying the day with us! I’d love any feedback from any of you that came to the event. We have already had some great emails sent to us.

Thank You for an Amazing 3rd Annual Fall Festival

Wow – what an amazing turn out! Can you believe we went from 400 people last year to over 1,400 this year? What a blessing is was to see everyone come out to support this good cause and have a great time. From the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office doing child ID kits and dog performances, to The Metro North Dance Group, The Japan International Karate Group, Northwoods Baptist Church Upward Cheerleaders, and the Legends Showband with Willie Nelson Impersonator, Gerry English, the fun never stopped. The kids had lots to choose from too: facepainting, crafts, jump castles, slides, carnival games, sponsor bingo, balloon animals, Chick-Fil-A game, and so much more. I’m sure there was not a dull moment to be had during those 3 hours on Saturday Oct. 24th.

If you were able to make it out to the festival we hope you had just as much fun as we did. We would like to give a special thanks to all of our sponsors, volunteers, staff, and everyone who attended. We would also like to thank our event coordinators, Candice and Erin from Yoj Events. This year would not have been possible without your help. You girls were amazing and really helped bring our plans to life.

We would also like to thank Helping Hands of Goose Creek for all they do everyday for this community. Drew Sineath & Associates was able to raise $400 and 1,084 lbs of food for this wonderful organization.

Helping Hands of Goose CreekHelping Hands of Goose Creek is a local food pantry governed by a Board of Directors made up of members from supporting churches and other organizations.  HHGC is a Trident United Way Funded Partner and works in close cooperation with the Goose Creek Clergy Association to serve the spiritual and temporal needs of the residents of South Berkeley County, SC. HHGC opened a food pantry in 1989 to distribute emergency food to families in crisis situations.  Our center has been in continuous operation since.  Services have varied and numerous special assistance projects have been accomplished during our years of operation.  Food distribution, however, remains the primary focus of the organization.

Help us feed hungry families in need. In an effort to raise tons of food for Helping Hands of Goose Creek, several local businesses are lending a hand. We have drop off boxes located throughout the Lowcountry. You can drop off non-perishable items at any of these locations. If you would like to be a drop off location, please give our marketing coordinator, Kristen Lanier, a call at 843-725-1200 or email her at kristen@drewsineath.com.

Goose Creek Realtor, Drew Sineath, Attends Lowcountry Parent Camp and Education Fair

Drew Sineath and Associates would like to thank everyone who attended the Lowcountry Parent Camp and Education Fair last weekend at the Citadel Mall. There were many different types of businesses in attendance that included chiropractors, church groups, Sam’s Club, and more. We were proud to be there to represent the real estate industry. 

 

We had a great time talking with parents and entertaining the kids. The Drew Sineath booth was equipped with a coloring station, free balloons, and free toys and candy for the kids. Don’t worry, we brought a World Market gift basket for the parents.

 

We hope everyone there had as much fun as we did meeting the local businesses and watching the performances. Our next festival will be at the Charleston Tea Plantation, Saturday May 16, from 10am to 5pm. We hope that you are able to go and enjoy the fun on America’s only tea plantation.
