Mission
To give back to the Goose Creek community by hosting a safe, family-friendly event that raises awareness for Helping Hands of Goose Creek.
Goals
Our goal for 2011 is to raise over $2,000 and 3,000 pounds of food for Helping Hands of Goose Creek by reaching out and meeting over 3,000 people in our community.

About the Race
The USATF certified 5k course begins at Middleton Park, continues along Crowfield's paved trail system and ends back at Middleton Park. This is a family event and everyone is welcome. The race is hosted by the Crowfield Plantation Community Services Association (CPCSA). Check out theresults and pictures from last years race.
Proceeds
Proceeds from the race will help fund the preservation of the Crowfield Plantation ruins, as well as other beautification projects throughout the Crowfield community.
Proceeds from the Fall Festival will benefit Helping Hands of Goose Creek.
Strollers and Dogs
Everyone is welcome but due to the design of the course, strollers and leashed dogs will only be permitted with walkers.
Awards:
Cash awards for the top overall M/F winners. Prize Awards for top overall M/F 2nd & 3rd Place. Age group awards will be given to the top three M/F winners in each division:14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, Masters 55-64, Grand Masters 65+.
T-shirts:
Shirt pick up starts at 7:00 am on race day. If no size was marked on your registration form you will be given a large shirt. T-shirts will be available while supplies last for day of race registrations.
Registration:
Received on or before October 20, 2010
- Individuals: $20
- Students grade 12 and under: $10
- Team registration (5 or more): $15 per person
All registrations received after Oct. 20, 2010 are $25

About Helping Hands of Goose Creek
Helping Hands of Goose Creek is a local food pantry governed by a Board of Directors made up of members from supporting churches and other organizations. HHGC is a Trident United Way Funded Partnet and works in close cooperation with the Goose Creek Clergy Association to servce the spiritual and temporal needs of the residents of South Berkley County, SC. HHGC opened a food pantry in 1989 to distribute emergency food to families in crisis situations and their center has been in continuous opertation since.
